Simplicity is key
All Kaydian ottoman storage beds are manufactured with our unique platform-style ventilated base. While our static beds are supplied with a heavy-duty, no-catch steel centre rail providing lift, support and ventilation to all mattresses. Our no-loose-parts-construction means that to assemble our static beds you only need a screwdriver – and we provide one for you.
Quality assurance for your peace of mind
To prevent any accidental damage to our bedframes, we’ve invested in our own distribution centre. This ensures our products stay clean and dry and are handled with care from the point of receipt to despatch. And, thanks to the centre’s high stock levels, we’re generally able to supply the product you need quickly.
Due diligence and British Standard testing as standard
Our British-owned factory in Malaysia is a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative, which means it’s audited, has adopted a code of labour practice, and is certified by internationally recognised authorities.
We craft our Kaydian bedframes with high density foams and fibres. All upholstery, foam and fibres are fire-retardant and tested to British Standards BS 5852.
Each of our bed frames is tested to BS EN 1725 :1998 to ensure they meet the necessary strength and structural performance standards.
We also adhere to REACH regulations (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals), which means our products are tested for restricted substances according to UKAS Accreditation.
Sustainability
Our ecological packaging is 70% recyclable and our R&D department is working to increase this figure further.
All the wood used in Kaydian products is sourced from sustainable forests, in keeping with the EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), 2013.
We build our bed frames from plantation timbers and boards and make the feet for our frames from plantation solid hardwood. We construct our standard base system with high resilience posture-form slats with flexi-cap fittings.
